Evangelical Theological Seminary in Cairo

There are many opportunities for fellowship among the students, faculty, and staff. The seminary hosts gatherings for students, faculty, staff, and their families on holidays and other special occasions, including Christmas, Easter, and graduation.

The chapel services that are held several times a week are a centerpiece of campus life. In additional to fostering spiritual growth, planning and leading chapel services are an opportunity for students to gain experience in preparing sermons and leading worship.

ETSC participates in a variety of ecumenical activities each year, including an ecumenical sports day and a day of theological dialogue. These ecumenical events typically facilitate conversation with students and leaders in the Coptic Orthodox and Catholic churches as we try to find greater ways to serve God together and build relationships within the Christian community in Egypt.

Each semester all the ETSC students take a retreat together to help focus themselves on the real reason for being at the seminary: to know God in a deeper way and to prepare for service in ministry.

Students occasionally take trips together, growing together and learning about their own history and culture.

At ETSC, there are a number of sports activities to provide students with opportunities for fitness and recreation.
