ETSC currently offers two undergraduate programs, a Bachelor of Theology (B.Th.) and a Diploma in Theology. Arabic is the language of instruction for both programs, although English is also used in the education process as most of the scholarly resources are in English.

Program Descriptions

B.Th. is a 140 credit hour program for students seeking ordination as pastors or lay leaders of the church who seek knowledge and/or want to sharpen their ministerial skills. Students seeking ordination must be registered full-time to complete the program in no more than five years. Additionally, ordination-track students must participate in the field ministry program (a one year internship). Non-ordination students do not have to participate in the field-ministry program. Applicants to the B.Th. program should already hold a Bachelor's degree.

The Diploma in Theology is a 100 credit hour program for those who do not seek ordination and do not hold a Bachelor's degree, but want to get acquainted with theological education for personal knowledge and/or assisting in the ministry of their churches. This degree can be completed as a full-time or part-time program in no more than eight years.

Men and women from Egypt and the Arab world are welcome to register for either undergraduate program. Having completed the B.Th. program at ETSC, students may go on for further academic education in the ETSC graduate program or abroad.
